Pho

Inspired by neighborhoods in my hometown, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, I created this piece portraying an alley with typical features of Vietnamese houses, such as metal-wired windows, collapsible doors, etc. This scene also features a street food vendor, which is one of the unique aspects of Vietnamese food culture.

The majority of the work was done in Maya, including modeling, UV mapping, lighting, and rendering with the Redshift plugin. Texturing was done in 3D Substance Painter. I also use Houdini for the procedural modeling of plants.
